We’re truly sorry to hear that you feel this way, because it doesn’t reflect who we are, how we operate or the truth of the situation.
We care deeply about every student and family who walks through our doors, and we consistently go above and beyond to support them—not just in training, but in life circumstances as well.
In your case specifically, we provided significant financial accommodations, including $50 off our current prices for each of the 4 memberships EVERY month, in addition to giving FREE training for a fifth child and also you the mom. When your son was injured playing another sport, we offered to freeze your account whenever needed to help during those difficult times.
Beyond that, we stayed in communication and checked in with you and with your friends who were still attending class on a regular basis because we genuinely care.
After of your son’s injury, the rest of the kids did keep attending for months as our software company keeps track of their sign in’s, so to say “We fulfilled the full one-year contract but did not step foot back in the dojo after March ’25” is a complete falsehood.
Yes the children’s attendance starting dropping months later and we reached out to see how we can help out.
With all those attempts to check in, we received multiple messages from you expressing appreciation for our support, along with specific intentions and dates to return to class full time months after your son’s injury (all images are included in this reply), which we welcomed and said we would help the kids get back caught up with their friends who were still attending regularly.
Our goal has always been to build people up—through fitness, self-defense, and character—not to create financial strain. We work hard to be flexible and supportive while also maintaining a sustainable business for all of our members.
We wish you and your family the best moving forward.
